Value Engineering is a systematic method to improve the "value" of goods and services by using an examination of function and cost. Value, as defined, is the ratio of function to cost. Value can therefore be increased by either improving the function or reducing the cost. It is a primary tenet of value engineering that basic functions be preserved and not be reduced as a consequence of pursuing value improvements.

For select customers, A2e will provide the following for a highly reduced NRE fee:

• Research to determine if cost can be removed from your product.

• Re-design of the product to achieve these savings goals.

• Transition to manufacturing.

In return for the reduced NRE fee, A2e Technologies will also receive a pre-negotiated royalty based on savings we achieve over the life of the product.
